Paul joined the Thompson McNichol Maroochydore law firm in 1994. He has extensive experience in property law, business transactions, retirement villages, and wills and estate planning.

In 2011, Paul became a Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist in Property Law, being one of only three accredited property law specialists on the Sunshine Coast. Recently Paul was appointed to be on the reference committee advising the State Government on amendments to the Land Sales Act and related property legislation. Paul believes in continual training and study to grow knowledge, broaden experiences and improve skills.

In 2019 Paul was recognised as a leading Queensland health and aged care lawyer in the Doyles Guide list of Leading Health and Aged Care Lawyers. Paul was the only lawyer based outside the Brisbane CBD recognised.

Outside of work Paul enjoys surfing, mountain biking, rugby and spending time with his wife and three young sons.
